This wine is golden in color, and definitely the darkest of the three chardonnay wines I taste tonight. The nose is a bit bit less vibrant and complex than the previous Chardonnay we tasted. It has some straight forward pear notes on the nose, though they’re faint. Vanilla notes are around the edges of the bouquet. The weight is medium+, bigger on the spice on the finish than fruit on the front. It’s nice, but at $33, it’s not a go to wine for me. I understand the value of the vineyard, but this wine doesn’t offer the quality for the price. 

Offering a dissenting opinion, my better half really enjoyed this wine. She loved it’s weight on her palate, she loved the toasty notes and the oak profile.
