The nose is very fragrant, tons of vanilla bean and pear notes. There’s a good bit of citrus and sweet lime on the nose. The palate starts soft and silky. There’s a bit of tree fruit up front (pear and apple), with a great finish of acidity. It’s a very food friendly wine. The weight on the palate is medium, and it is very much a california wine. $40 or so retail
